In a world where marriage is forbidden, sex is only granted to male warriors, and the outer realm is full of murderous creatures, Arianna fights to protect the life of her only living relative, her brother.

Tardon, an elite warrior, is granted anything he desires by the Elders, but finds little joy in the voluptuous women presented to him. Born for the bloodlust found only in battle, complicated emotions emerge when he discovers his equal in the alluring warrior, Arianna.

Charged by the Elders with saving the castle from attack, Tardon and Arianna risk the curse when they traverse the vast outer realm to retrieve serum from the Tree of Life. If successful, the Elders have promised Tardon the right to marry and Arianna the cure for her brother’s death fever. Will their love carry them through or will the discovery of a great deception be their ultimate demise
A renowned warrior, gifted with the most beautiful women, Tardon is haunted by the one woman he can't have.  When a sparing session puts these two together it sets in motion an incredible story of magic and love.  In a world where sex is punishable by death, can Tardon and Arianna survive and find the cure for her brother's illness?  Will these two be able to overcome the obstacles put in their path?

Ciara has woven such a amazing story filled with adventure, romance, mystery and deception.  With great characters she had me glued to the story and eagerly flipping pages to see what happens.  Arianna was strong, a skilled warrior and incredibly sensual.  She and Tardon are caught in a compromising position by an Enforcer, she is condemned by the Elders.

The Elders are the leaders of this society; they have extremely strict rules when it comes to female warriors; which we see when Arianna breaks one of them.  This is an extremely male dominant society, which personally I didn't like, but it worked will with the story.

I really enjoyed the story, even though there were a few things I didn't quite like; the good definitely outdid the bad.  There was a couple of spots where things slowed down, but it wasn't enough for me to stop reading that's for sure!  I don't want to give much away with the plot or how things come about - I hate spoiling things for others!

For those who love Romance, Fantasy and a story with lots of twists and turns, this is one for you.
