Rainy Day Reads & Flicks (Giveaway!)

As the cloudy rainy weather moves in and the curl up with a hot cup of tea feeling starts to bloom I begin to think about all the books and movies I could read/watch.

Do I pick the long time favorites like the “Skye O’Malley” saga by Bertrice Small or the “Bridgerton Series” by Julia Quinn?
(Only the first three books in each series are shown)

  1. I like to read YA books on a rainy day.. Nothing in particular, just something that I wouldn't wanna put down.
Either that or any book by DeeAnne Gist. The rain would be more romantic with a romance book :)

  2. I like to read romance and sci-fi. My favorite all time read is "If I Pay Thee Not In Gold". It is an older book but still a good one. I always have Pride and Prejudice playing in the background.

  4. I would say that my fave rainy day movie is Princess Bride! And my fave rainy day read is a good historical romance - something I don't read enough of lately, like Bertrice Small or Madeline Hunter. :)

  6. My favorite book to read on a rainy day is whatever book I'm reading at the time. I usually have so many books on my TBR pile, I'd rather read something new than go back and reread something.

    1. Nice :) Sometimes I'll dig into my TBR pile as well on a rainy day for a good historical or contemporary to read.

  9. Thanks for a fun post! I love to watch Pride and Prejudice w/ Kiera Knightly or completely opposite, the Aliens trilogy. Or if I want to read I shut my eyes, spin, and grab from my TBR mountain range :)
