Synopsis:

'Tis the season for...

•A matchmaking grandma on a long-distance mission
•Mistletoe temptation in every doorway
•A sexy cowboy with a killer smile

Commitment! It made Sage run the other way. It made Creed shudder. But Sage's granny, the Widow Presley, was determined to get her granddaughter a cowboy for Christmas. And who better than Creed, the man interested in purchasing the widow's Rockin' C Ranch?

The fact that a three-day blizzard was blowing in just made things all the better. A person can't run from commitment when they're snowed in, now can they?

Sage is shocked and upset that her Grandmother has decided to sell the ranch!  She’s driven home in a blinding blizzard to talk out of what she thinks is a mistake.  Unfortunately for Sage, she arrives too late and her Grandmother has already left for the winter!

Stranded at the ranch, Sage meets Creed – the cowboy who wants to buy the ranch.  These two commitment phobic characters are thrown together by a crazy blizzard, looking after abandoned animals and trying to keep their hands to themselves.

One of the things I love about Carolyn’s book are the characters.  The women are spunky, witty and know what they want in life.  The men are sexy, strong and willing to do almost anything to win their ladies hearts.  The sparks fly between characters, the banter is hilarious and of course who doesn’t love the animals?

Would I recommend this book?  Yes!  If you loved the “Spikes & Spurs” series you’ll love this one.  Creed is one of Ace’s brothers!)  I love the sexual tension between Creed & Sage – it sizzled!  Would I read more by this author?  Most definitely!  I already have the next book waiting on my TBR list to read!
